Julie Walker - Director and Principal QP
Julie Walker founded JWQC in 2011 and is the Managing Director and Senior Quality Consultant.
Julie has a passion for designing and supporting the implementation of quality systems that drive both efficiencies and continuous improvement within pharmaceutical organisations.
Julie’s extensive experience with IMPs included working with both sponsors and manufacturers to support all clients to fulfil their respective responsibilities within the GMP environment. She particularly enjoys working in challenging areas, problem solving and helping drive organisations forward, as well as training and mentoring of staff.
Julie has designed systems that support the project management of IMP manufacture and subsequent QP certification. She has over twenty-five years’ experience working with Pharmaceutical product manufacture and has held key Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Head of Quality, QP and contract QP positions in busy production units. Julie’s breadth of experience covers a range of sterile and non-sterile dosage forms including liquids, semi solids, capsules and tablets, plasmids and proteins, freeze dried and spray dried presentations, biotech products and medical devices.

Audrey Holt - Consultant and QP
Audrey has worked at JWQC since October 2014 and performs the role of Quality Consultant for the organisation.
Audrey enjoys working with both IMP manufacturers and sponsors using her QP experience to provide QP certification and auditing services as well as general consultation and advice.
Audrey has over twenty years’ experience working in Quality Assurance roles within the medical device and pharmaceutical industries. Her early experience in the medical device industry included an extensive number of GMP and ISO13485 Quality audits across multi-site locations, and supplier audits across a worldwide base. Audrey enjoys performing GMP audits for our various clients.
Audrey has twelve years’ experience working for Contract Manufacturing Organisations as an IMP QP, performing QP certification activities for a range of dosage forms (sterile and non-sterile) destined for distribution to clinical study sites across the globe.
Sally Smith - Consultant and Microbiologist
Sal has worked at JWQC since July 2015. She is an experienced Microbiologist and brings to JWQC valuable micro knowledge for our pharma clients having worked within both Quality Control and Quality Assurance environments. Sal is actively involved with our GMP audits of contract test facilities.
Having worked in senior microbiologist positions for pharmaceutical CMOs for fifteen years, Sal has in depth knowledge of microbiological testing of sterile and non-sterile drug products, as well as raw materials, and has executed numerous environmental monitoring programs for sterile and non-sterile manufacturing facilities.
Her experience also includes developing validation protocols for facility and method qualification, setting up environmental monitoring programs and overseeing contracted out microbiology services to ensure that all microbiological aspects are considered in full.
Sarah Forster - Consultant and Quality System Specialist
Sarah has worked at JWQC since May 2021. She has worked within the Quality function of contract manufacturing / generics (GDP) / sponsor companies for the past 20+ years and has worked in both Quality Control and Quality Assurance environments as a QC analyst, QA officer in laboratory, factory and GDP roles, and as a QA Manager.
Sarah has an in-depth knowledge of the principles of Good Manufacturing Practice which enables a greater insight when developing processes and records for recording activities and an acute attention to detail when it comes to reviewing documentation.
Sarah brings to JWQC valuable PQS knowledge using both paper based and electronic platforms. She has experience in all areas of the pharmaceutical quality system and can support the development and maintenance of quality management system processes.
Stephen Walker - Director
Stephen is responsible for administration and day to day running. He has a wide range of business and financial experience, having previously worked in a variety of roles for healthcare, banking and telecoms organisations. As a Director at JWQC, his responsibilities include managing the finances and the other business processes that are necessary to ensure the proper functioning of the business.

Sam Walker - Director
Sam has worked at JWQC since February 2021. He joined JWQC to support quality and IT functions and was made a director in March 2023. His responsibilities include creation and maintenance of all online platforms, document control, and day-to-day administration of the company.
Sam brings valuable experience to JWQC from his time as director of his other company, Leicester Taiko, which specialises in Japanese drumming performance, team building and education.
